Our home base — the office is on South Rosemary Avenue. West Palm is also where we see the widest spread between two houses on the same street, because the plumbing varies so much by decade.

Palm Beach, FL

The island. Big houses, long pipe runs, and a lot of owners who want the equipment out of sight — which is exactly what the faux rock and shed installs are for.

Lake Worth Beach, FL

Greenacres is on PBCWUD's eastern system, which is disinfected with chloramine rather than plain chlorine. Chloramine does not gas off in a pitcher on the counter — it takes a proper carbon bed to remove.

Royal Palm Beach is served directly by PBCWUD's eastern system. Twice a year the county switches that system from chloramine to free chlorine to clean the mains — that is the fortnight the whole neighbourhood notices the smell.

Wellington, FL

Wellington runs its own utility. Big lots, big irrigation demand, and a lot of homes where the equipment goes outside — which is where the shed and faux rock installs come in.

Loxahatchee Groves, FL

Water from: Private wells are common, alongside municipal supply

Loxahatchee Groves is properly rural by Palm Beach County standards, and plenty of properties out here are on their own well. Well water is a different build entirely — iron, sulfur smell and bacteria come before softening.
